The Boston Celtics didn’t have a perfect start to the Eastern conference finals against Miami Heat as they lost game one of the series by 117-114. Goran Dragic top-scored with 29 points for the Miami Heat to help his team go 1-0 up in the finals. However, there were some positives for the Celtics despite the loss as the young gun, Jayson Tatum continued to impress one and all with his performances.
Tatum has come up with impressive renditions throughout the season and he is touted as the next big thing in the NBA. The 22-year old is breaking records one after the other as he is coming with great renditions for his team. Tatum has been at the top of his game in the postseason and he has been able to carry his form.
Tatum joined the likes of Larry Bird on Tuesday after the first conference finals against Miami Heat. The youngster came up with an all-around performance as he scored 30 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists. This was his third straight 25/10/5 playoff game which helped him write his name in the franchise’s history books.
Consequently, he became only the second Boston Celtics player after Larry Bird to achieve the remarkable milestone. Tatum has impressed with his performances and he would aim to continue his sublime form.
The youngster is getting better with every passing game and he is a treat to the eyes for the aficionados.
Meanwhile, Celtics would aim to make a comeback after losing the first game of the Eastern conference finals. Tatum would aim to deliver the goods and he would look for support from players like Jaylen Brown. The second of the finals will be played on Friday.
