The Lakers star LeBron James is one of the best Basketball players to have embraced the game. James was at his best in the 2019-20 season and he delivered consistent performances right throughout the season. The Lakers got off to a winning start as they defeated the LA Clippers in their opening match of the Orlando bubble and didn’t look back after that.
James, who is known to carry the team on his shoulders, was also able to get the best out of the rest of the players. The King shattered records after records as he was in the beast mode. Bron was at his absolute best in the postseason and did a fine job for his team.
James has shown why age is just a number as he came up with solid performances at the age of 35 years. The talisman has always worked hard on his fitness and he has reaped fruits for the same.
He averaged a double-double with 25.3 points, 7.8 boards, and 10.2 assists. Furthermore, before the NBA 2020 Finals, LeBron led the league with 395 defensive rebounds. Thus, Bron ticked the right boxes in every sphere of the game.
Meanwhile, former two-time NBA champion Isiah Thomas heaped praise on the champion. Thomas stated that James is always in the top 10 of every record, which is phenomenal and it goes to show his consistency as well as his all-round game.
Isiah Thomas said in an Interview on Club Shay Shay, “We have never seen in the NBA, a player like LeBron James. He breaks a record every single night just to remind you that you’re never seen this before. Some people will have a record and they’re dominating one category, but he’s in the Top 10 in everything. That’s never happened, from the guard position, and wing position in our sport.”
“It’s going to be hard for people to look back 10 years from now and say ‘he wasn’t the best’. You can have your emotional best, but what this guy’s been doing … We’ve got a freak in Basketball. We have never seen this type of athlete body performance consistency from a guy, this long.”
James will look to continue his great show and he will aim to replicate the same kind of performances in the next season. The legend is still hungry for more and he would aim to be at his best.
