Golden State Warriors talisman Stephen Curry is regarded as one of the best shooters in the game. Curry has broken a plethora of three-pointers record in his career and he has once got off to a stunning start in the ongoing NBA 2021-22 season. The talisman has top-scored for his team in seven out of the 10 matches GSW has played in the season as Steve Kerr’s men have an impressive 9-1 record.
Curry had a stellar night against Atalanta Hawks on Monday night as he scored 50 points and 10 assists for the first time in his career and went past Wilt Chamberlain’s record of achieving the milestone as the oldest player to do so in the NBA. Furthermore, the linchpin added seven rebounds, three steals, and a block to his ledger.
Thus, he played a key role in obliterating the opposition by 127-113 as he came up with his best.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr heaped praise on his star player and stated that Curry is always motivated to get the best out of himself and wants to beat the best teams.
Kerr said while talking Radio 95.7 in an interview, “He finds ways to motivate himself. And it’s not thinking, you know it’s real. He wants to win a championship. He wants to beat the best teams..”
“All that stuff factors in, it’s one of the reasons Steph is as great as he is. He goes so far beyond the skill. It’s a competitive desire and the belief in himself that can follow through on that competitiveness.”
Curry, who is a three-time NBA champion, is once again showing his class. Curry has all the experience under his belt and he will look to continue his good form.
