Golden State Warriors’ talisman Steph Curry is in red-hot form in the ongoing season. Curry is known for his ability to hit the three-pointers and his shooting skills and the veteran player has played at the top of his game so far for the Warriors.
Golden State Warriors thrashed San Antonio Spurs by a massive margin of 114-91. Steph Curry was once again the star of the show as top-scored for his team with 32 points. In fact, Curry scored 12 of his 32 points in the first quarter and laid the foundation of the team’s triumph on Wesdney.
Former Chicago Bulls player and now coach of Golden State Warriors’ Steve Kerr compared Steph Curry’s layup shot with his former teammate and legend Michael Jordan.
Curry scored a brilliant right-handed reverse layup and Kerr likened it with Michael Jordan.
Kerr said, “That play was sort of Jordan-esque. You know, I saw him make that move. Many times, you know, go to go the rim get fouled and just kind of, you know, flick it backward.”
Kerr added, “He didn’t always make it but you know, he, he liked doing that shot and that was that was an incredible example of body control and touch and feel. What an amazing shot.”
Curry is in top form in the ongoing season and he has definitely put his hat in the ring to tbe MVP of the season. The 32-year scored his 13th 30+ score of the season and he will look to continue the good show for the Golden State Warriors in the coming matches.
Curry is averaging a brilliant 29.6 points, 5.9 assists and 5,4 rebounds per game in this season. The Golden State Warriors will next face the Orlando Magic on Friday.
