Golden State Warriors talisman Steph Curry is really impressed with the young talent which is coming up the ranks in the NBA. Curry is always well known to praise the new talent in the game and he feels that the league is in good hands right now as the players have shown the right skills and temperament to go a long way in their careers.
Curry is currently playing his 13th NBA season and he has seen a lot of players in his career who have done well. Meanwhile, players like Ja Morant, Darius Garland, LaMelo Ball, Djounte Murray, Andrew Wiggins, Jarrett Allen, and Fred VanVleet will play their first All-Star games.
Curry is delighted to note the new crop of players are showing the right signs and they have it in them to go a long way in their respective careers.
“It’s you know probably at an all-time high in terms of some of the young guys who are stepping into the All-Star level, you know basketball. You gotta a lot of first-timers here who so deserving of the honor have made huge leaps”.
“Competitions’ crazy across the board and that’s part of what makes this weekend special, you get everybody in the same room, you have fun, hype each other up, but then knowing like two months, everybody’s gonna be butting heads to get to the top of the mountain, so the league is in good hands right now.”
On the other hand, Andrew Wiggins, the 26-year old from Canada has had the pleasure of sharing the court with Curry for the Golden State Warriors. Wiggins has definitely learned a lot from the veteran and heaped praise on his teammate.
Wiggins said in the All-Star weekend press interview, “Steph Curry is one of a kind. He changed the game just from him stepping on the court, you know all the attention that he gets on the court is crazy and is well deserved because he is who he is”.
Team LeBron and Team Durant will take on each other on Sunday.
