Afghanistan will square off against India in the first T20I against India at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi, on Sunday. India has named a full-strength squad for the series after they were stunned by Ireland while playing away.
Sanju Samson has also returned to the squad, whereas Yash Thakur was named as Harshit Rana’s replacement on Thursday. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will be the cynosure of all eyes, and there is no doubt that the Delhi crowd will turn up to watch the youngster in action. The left-hander scored 151 runs in three games against Zimbabwe and he would look to continue his rich form.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, would need to come up with a collective effort.
