India will square off against Bangladesh in the final Super Fours stage match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Friday. Team India will aim to continue the good show in the continental tournament whereas Bangladesh will look to end the competition on a high.
India was put under a bit of pressure by Sri Lanka in their previous match but they were able to keep their calm. The likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav played a crucial role in the team’s 41-run win.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, has lacked with the bat as their experienced batters like Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Litton Das have failed to deliver the goods.
Ravindra Jadeja needs one wicket to complete 200 scalps in the ODI format.
Mohammed Siraj needs three more wickets to complete 50 scalps in the 50-over version.
Ishan Kishan requires 191 runs to complete the 1000-run mark in the ODI format.
Towhid Hridoy needs 58 runs to complete 500 runs in the ODI format.
Mushfiqur Rahim requires 112 runs to get to the milestone of 7500 runs in the 50-over version.
