Australia vs India, 2nd T20I – Stats Preview

Australia will square off against India in the second T20I at the iconic MCG on Friday after the opening game was called off due to rain. There were positives for India as Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav were able to get much-needed runs under their belt at the Manuka Oval, Canberra. Gill timed the ball to perfection, whereas SKY looked at his usual best after a long time.

Both teams are expected to play with the same final XI at the MCG and both sides will aim to tick the right boxes in the second game.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav needs four more fours to reach 250 boundaries in the shortest format.

Tilak Varma needs 38 runs to complete 1000 runs in T20Is.

Rinku Singh needs four fours to complete 50 boundaries in T20Is.

Sanju Samson needs seven runs to complete 1000 runs in T20Is.

Jasprit Bumrah needs four wickets to complete 100 scalps in T20Is. He will become the second Indian bowler to reach the milestone after Arshdeep Singh.

Tim David needs five sixes to complete 100 maximums in T20Is.

Australian captain Mitchell Marsh needs four runs to reach the 2000-run mark in T20Is.

Marcus Stoinis needs four scalps to complete 50 wickets in T20Is.
