Australia vs India, 5th T20I – Stats Preview

Australia will square off against India in the fifth and final T20I of the series at the Gabba, Brisbane on Saturday. India took a 2-1 lead in the series after winning the penultimate game convincingly by 48 runs. Axar Patel was awarded Player of the Match after his all-round performance. Patel scored a fine little cameo of 11-ball 21 and then scalped 2-20 in his quota of four overs.

Australia could not chase down 168 runs, and they would want to come up with an improved batting show against the tourists.

Abhishek Sharma needs 11 runs to complete 1000 runs in T20Is. He will become the fastest batter in terms of balls faced to reach the 1000-run mark.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav needs three more fours to reach 250 boundaries in the shortest format.

Tilak Varma needs four runs to complete 1000 runs in T20Is.

Rinku Singh needs four fours to complete 50 boundaries in T20Is.

Sanju Samson needs five runs to complete 1000 runs in T20Is.

Jasprit Bumrah needs one wicket to complete 100 scalps in T20Is. He will become the second Indian bowler to reach the milestone after Arshdeep Singh.

Varun Chakravarthy needs five wickets to complete 50 scalps in T20Is.

Marcus Stoinis needs one scalp to complete 50 wickets in T20Is.
