Bangladesh vs India, 2nd Test – Dafanews Match Preview

Bangladesh will lock horns against India in the second Test match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka from Thursday. The tourists had taken a 1-0 lead in the series after winning the first Test by a huge margin of 188 runs and they would look to continue the good show.

India had done a good job in posting a par score of 404 runs in the first innings after Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer had played vital knocks on a difficult pitch. Subsequently, Kuldeep Yadav was right on the money to return with figures of 5-40 as the Tigers were skittled out for a meager score of 150 runs.

On the other hand, Bangladesh’s batting was not up to the mark in the first innings as they conceded a huge lead of 254 runs. The Tigers’ bowling was also hampered by injuries as Ebadot Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan could not bowl consistently. However, the home team came up with better batting in the second dig as Zakir Hasan played a fine knock of 100 runs.
