India will square off against Bangladesh in the opening Test match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai from Thursday onwards. The match will be played on a red soil pitch and the track will offer bounce and carry, with the reverse swing also expected to come into the picture.
India will look to make of their home conditions and the batters will also need to pull up their socks. The Indian batters have been averaging 33.40 since 2021 in the home conditions and thus they need to deliver as a unit.
On the other hand, Bangladesh are high on confidence after their 2-0 win against Pakistan. The Tigers will look to come up with a collective show against the Indian juggernauts.
