After India registered their biggest Test victory by 434 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the series, the fourth Test match will be played in Ranchi from Friday onwards. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been simply brilliant for the hosts, scoring a majestic knock of 214 runs in the second innings. Furthermore, India received a massive boost as Rohit Sharma bounced back to form, scoring a fine knock of 131 runs.

Ravindra Jadeja came up with an all-round performance, scoring 112 runs in the first innings and also taking a five-wicket haul in the second innings. Thus, Jadeja was awarded Player of the Match for his fine performance.
