India will square off against New Zealand in the second T20I at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur on Friday. The hosts registered a convincing 48-run win to draw first blood in the series and would want to carry the winning impetus.
The home team posted a gargantuan score of 238 runs on the board after Abhishek Sharma and Rinku Singh starred for the team. India continued with their aggressive approach despite losing wickets at regular intervals and that’s why their strategy of playing with eight batters works fine in T20Is. India also came up with a decent bowling performance.
New Zealand, on the other hand, were not up to the mark with the ball and would want to bounce back strongly.
