Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns against Lucknow Super Giants at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Monday in the 12th match of the Indian Premier League.
Sunrisers Hyderabad had lost their opening game against Rajasthan Royals and they would aim to bounce back stronger.
On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants had also lost their first match of the season against Gujarat Titans however they made a fine comeback as they won a thrilling game against defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a disappointing start against Rajasthan Royals. The Orange Army conceded a gargantuan total of 210 runs whereas they could only manage 149 runs in their batting innings. Thus, the Kane Williamson-led team will need to pull up socks in both departments of the game.
SRH have an inexperienced batting order and they are going to have their work cut out. Washington Sundar can be utilized in the middle-order as he had scored a blistering knock in the opening game and he can deliver with the bat.
Lucknow Super Giants would have been delighted after winning their previous match against CSK. LSG had their backs against the wall in the run-chase however Evin Lewis and young Ayush Badoni were able to get their team over the line.
Furthermore, Quinton de Kock had also scored 61 runs at the top of the order, which was a positive for LSG. However, LSG will want to come up with a better effort in the field as Dushmantha Chameera was struggling to grab the ball because of dew.
Match Prediction: Given the form and the balance of both teams, Lucknow Super Giants will begin the contest as favorites against SRH.
