Rajasthan Royals will take on Delhi Capitals in the 58th match of the Indian Premier League 2022 at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai on Wednesday. Rajasthan Royals had won their previous match against Punjab Kings by six wickets whereas Delhi Capitals suffered a huge loss of 91 runs against Chennai Super Kings.
Rajasthan Royals have won seven out of their 11 matches and they are placed in the third position in the points table. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have managed five wins from 11 games and they are in fifth place in the points table.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was able to grab his chance with both hands for Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings as he scored a fine knock of 68 runs. The youngster’s knock is a big positive for the inaugural champions as Jos Buttler will want support from the other end. However, Shimron Hetmyer, who has been amazing as a finisher, will miss the game against Delhi Capitals as he has returned to the Caribbean to be with his wife for the birth of his child.
On the other hand, Delhi Capitals were blown away by CSK in their last game. DC conceded 208 runs and thus they need to come up with a better bowling show. Furthermore, they have been reliant on the shoulders of David Warner and Rovman Powell and the other batters need to contribute to the team’s success.
