Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Rajasthan Royals in the 39th match of the Indian Premier League at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Tuesday. RCB had lost their previous match by a huge margin against Sunrisers Hyderabad as they were skittled out for only 68 runs, which was the second-lowest total in the IPL history.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals won their last game against Delhi Capitals by 15 runs after Jos Buttler scored his third hundred of the season.
Meanwhile, RCB had an off-day with the bat as none of their batters could get going against the SRH bowling line-up. Virat Kohli’s dismal form is a concern for the Bangalore-based franchise and the talisman will aim to peak in the second half of the season.
RCB will want more from their middle order in the upcoming matches. Mohammed Siraj has also been expensive for RCB and he will like to make a good comeback.
As far as Rajasthan Royals are concerned, Jos Buttler is delivering the goods. Furthermore, Devdutt Padikkal had also scored a fine fifty in the previous match, which was a big positive for the team. Sanju Samson had also provided the finishing touches whereas Prasidh Krishna was right on the money.
When these two teams had met earlier in the season, RCB had won by four wickets.
