The five-time champions Mumbai Indians will face inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday in the 42nd match of the season. RR is currently at the summit of the points table with five wins in eight matches whereas MI is in eighth place with three wins in seven matches.
RR had won their previous match against Chennai Super Kings by 32 runs whereas MI suffered a huge loss of 55 runs against defending champions Gujarat Titans in their last game, which further dented their Net Run Rate.
