IPL 2023: Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals, Game 64 – Match Prediction

Punjab Kings will lock horns against Delhi Capitals in the 64th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on Wednesday. Punjab Kings are in eighth place in the standings with six wins and as many losses and their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs are hanging by a thin thread as they have a poor Net Run Rate.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals had earlier become the first to get eliminated from the playoff race. The Capitals have managed only four wins in the 12 matches they have played and their poor performances with the bat have led to their downfall in IPL 2023.

In the previous match, PBKS had defeated Delhi Capitals by 31 runs and they will be looking to replicate the same show. Prabhsimran Singh had scored a blistering century whereas Harpreet Brar had done a fantastic job with the ball as he had returned with impressive figures of 4-30 in his quota of four overs.

Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals could not capitalize despite getting off to a good start in the run-chase of 168 runs. Batting has been Delhi Capitals’ kryptonite in the ongoing season and they will be looking to finish the season on a high.

Match Prediction: Punjab Kings will enter this contest as favorites against Delhi Capitals.
