Punjab Kings will face Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 27th match of the season at the IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali on Thursday. PBKS have won three out of the five matches they have played whereas RCB has won two games out of their five games.
Punjab Kings had won their previous match against Lucknow Super Giants by two wickets after Sikandar Raza scored a fine fifty while Shahrukh Khan added the finishing touches with a little cameo of 10-ball 23.
It was a much-needed win for PBKS as they had lost their previous two matches. Shikhar Dhawan missed that game due to a shoulder injury and he will undergo a fitness test before the clash against RCB. Moreover, Liam Livingstone will also undergo a fitness test before he could be given a green chit to play his first match of the season.
On the other hand, RCB suffered a eight-run loss against Chennai Super Kings in their previous game. RCB’s death bowling woes haven’t ended as they conceded 54 runs in the last four overs against CSK. Harshal Patel holds the key for the team but he hasn’t been able to deliver for the team. However, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell were brilliant for them as both of them scored blistering knocks.
Match Prediction: Royal Challengers Bangalore will enter the contest as favorites against Punjab Kings.
