IPL 2023: Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals, Game 11 – Match Prediction

The first-ever IPL game at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati was a run-fest between home side Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings but the hosts lost the thrilling contest by five runs. The inaugural champions will want to take the home advantage in their third clash of the season against Delhi Capitals, who have lost both of their matches so far.

This will be a day-game between these two teams and thus the dew factor wouldn’t be an issue. RR had made a statement win against SRH in their opening game but they could not quite close the run-chase against Punjab Kings on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals suffered a 50-run loss against LSG in their opening clash and also could not get over the line in their previous match against reigning champions Gujarat Titans.

The Capitals’ batting has looked beleaguered and the likes of Prithvi Shaw and Mitchell Marsh will have to come to the party at the top of the order. However, their bowling did have some teeth as Anrich Nortje was right on the money against GT in the first six overs.

As per the reports, Jos Buttler could miss this match due to a finger injury he suffered against PBKS and this could be a major blow for the Sanju Samson-led team.

Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorities against Delhi Capitals.
