Rajasthan Royals will return to their fortress of Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur after a long gap of four years as they will take on Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday. RR have looked like a team that can once again go deep in the tournament as they have been coming up with the right performances.
Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, have also shown the right potential but they lost their previous match against Punjab Kings by two wickets.
Currently, RR occupies the top spot in the points table with four wins in five matches whereas LSG is hot on the heels of the Sanju Samson-led team as they are in second place with three wins in five matches.
Meanwhile, Shimron Hetmyer and Sanju Samson were brilliant for the inaugural champions in the previous game against defending champions Gujarat Titans as they had batted at their best despite being on the back foot.
On the other hand, LSG received a boost in their previous game as their skipper KL Rahul got back into form but the flamboyant batter will want to score his runs at a brisk pace.
