Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns against Chennai Super Kings in the 24th match of the Indian Premier League 2023 at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Monday. Both of these two teams have won two matches and lost as many in the ongoing season of the IPL.
RCB had won their previous match while playing in the home conditions against Delhi Capitals by 23 runs. On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings suffered a three-run loss against Rajasthan Royals while playing at home.
In fact, CSK’s skipper MS Dhoni is nursing a knee injury but he is expected to play against RCB. The team’s all-rounder Ben Stokes is expected to miss the upcoming three matches though.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has been in great form, which is a big positive for RCB. Kohli had scored a fifty in the last game against DC and he would want to carry the same form. Kohli has scored 214 runs in four matches of the tournament so far.
Moreover, Mohammed Siraj was right on the money with the new ball for RCB whereas Vijaykumar Vyshak had a dream debut, returning with figures of 3-20.
On the other hand, CSK will want to come up with a better batting performance as they could not chase down 176 runs in the last game against RR.
Match Prediction: Chennai Super Kings will enter the contest as favorites against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
