Rajasthan Royals will lock horns against Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur in the 24th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Wednesday. In the last couple of years, the rivalry between these teams has been intense.
The matches have gone down to the wire and have been absolute cinema for the fans. While Rajasthan Royals have gone from strength to strength in the ongoing season as they are the only unbeaten team in the tournament with four wins in four matches, there have been some issues for Gujarat Titans.
The Titans should have won against Punjab Kings whereas their batting was not up to the mark against LSG in their last game. Thus, the Shubman Gill-led team needs to come up with a collective show with both bat and ball. The Titans have certainly missed the services of David Miller, who is expected to miss at least two more games.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have ticked almost all the right boxes. They have found a new hero in almost all of their four matches, which is often the key to success in T20s.
One of the major talking points for them must have been the form of their openers and 50% of that was solved with Jos Buttler scoring a 58-ball century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Kumar Sangakkara and Co. will hope that Yashasvi Jaiswal also soon hit the strides.
Match Prediction: Rajasthan Royals will enter the contest as favorites against Gujarat Titans.
