Bottom-placed Chennai Super Kings will take on Delhi Capitals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai in the ongoing IPL 2026 on Saturday. CSK are yet to get on the points table as they have suffered three losses in as many games.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals won their opening two games but lost their previous match against Gujarat Titans, which they should have won. David Miller messed up when he refused a single on the penultimate ball when DC needed two runs off the last two balls. Eventually, DC suffered a one-run loss as Kuldeep Yadav fell short at the striker’s end.

However, DC opener KL Rahul got back amongst the runs, which was a huge positive for the franchise. 

Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings are struggling with the bat. The opening duo of Sanju Samson and Ruturaj Gaikwad have struggled to provide solid starts to the team and they would want to give a promising start to their team. CSK’s bowling has looked toothless and it would be imperative for them to come up with a better performance.

CSK conceded 250 runs in the last game against RCB and they would aim to pull up their socks.
