On Tuesday, the national capital of the country was welcomed by scattered drizzle throughout the day. It is a rare occurrence if rain makes an appearance in the first week of April but the rain gods have had a different plan in the last week.
Delhi Capitals will host Gujarat Titans at their home ground of Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi but no rain is forecasted for Wednesday. While DC have got off to a perfect start, like the previous season, winning both of their games, GT are still looking for their first win of the season after losing both of their matches so far.
GT was in a shoo-in position against Rajasthan Royals in the previous game but Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada could not close out the game when they needed 15 runs off the last two overs.
On the other hand, Sameer Rizvi has been fantastic for Delhi Capitals. Rizvi scored a match-winning knock of 90 runs off just 51 balls against Mumbai Indians in the last game after scoring a fifty in the opening clash against LSG.
However, DC would want to come up with a collective batting effort as their top order is yet to fire.
Head to Head: Matches: 7, Won by DC: 3, Won by GT: 4.
