Two unbeaten teams so far – Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru – will face each other at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati on Friday. While the inaugural champions have won all of their three games, the defending champions have won both of their matches.
Both of these teams have come up with a fearless approach in the ongoing season and they are reaping the rewards for the same. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal were brilliant for RR in the previous game against Mumbai Indians and the young pair would want to carry the same carnage against RCB.
RR have ticked the right boxes with both bat and ball but would want more from their middle order, especially Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have played like champions and they are making a statement with their fearless approach. Rajat Patidar has led from the front and the form of Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli, and Tim David is a huge positive.
Moreover, Jacob Duffy hasn’t allowed RCB to miss Josh Hazlewood’s services yet. Krunal Pandya, Suyash Sharma, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have also been right on the money.
Head to Head: Matches: 34, Won by RCB: 17, Won by RR: 14, No Result: 3.
