Rajasthan Royals will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 36th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur on Saturday. This will be the first game in Jaipur this season and RR would want to make the most of their home ground.
Rajasthan Royals had registered a comprehensive 40-run win against LSG in the last game after their bowling unit came up with a collective performance. Jofra Archer and Nandre Burger were right on the money with the new ball, and they would look to carry the good performance.
However, the inaugural champions would want to come up with an improved batting show as they could only score 159 runs in the previous match. RR have been dependent on their top three batters – Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Dhruv Jurel, and it is high time that the likes of Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag deliver consistent performances.
On the other hand, SRH have embraced an aggressive approach with the bat. Furthermore, the likes of Sakib Hussain, Praful Hinge and Ehsan Malinga have done a fine job for the Orange Army.
Full-time skipper Pat Cummins is expected to return to action after recovering from a back injury, which he suffered ahead of the Ashes. Cummins’ addition will certainly boost SRH’s bowling line-up as the Australia skipper would bring more experience to the table.
