    Keep playing good cricketing shots – Yashasvi Jaiswal reveals Jos Buttler’s advice

    Indian young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has definitely learned a lot while playing with England batter Jos Buttler for Rajasthan Royals in Tata Indian Premier League. The youngster had the pleasure of opening the innings along with Jos Buttler and he has definitely grown in confidence.

    Jaiswal went on score 258 runs at a strike rate of 132.99 in 10 matches he played at an average of 25.80 in IPL 2022. The southpaw grew in confidence after playing with Jos Buttler and he has been trying to apply Englishman’s advice in his game.

    Jaiswal revealed that Buttler told him to understand the match situation and keep playing good cricketing shots to savor success. The left-hander scored twin centuries in the Ranji Trophy semifinal against Uttar Pradesh as he batted at the top of his game. Furthermore, he scored a fine knock of 78 runs in Mumbai’s first innings in the ongoing final against Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday.

    “I try to follow his tips, which have helped me. Watch the ball, understand the situation and keep playing good cricketing shots that I follow,” Jaiswal was quoted as saying in a video uploaded on BCCI Domestic’s Twitter handle.

    “I am happy that I made three centuries. I missed it today, but it is okay,” he stated.

    Jaiswal added that it is an honor to represent Mumbai in the domestic circuit and he feels proud and blessed.

    “It’s a proud moment whenever I wear this cap and I am really blessed. I am tough mentally because I am playing for Mumbai. While playing for Mumbai, all the time you need to be on your toes,” he added.

    The southpaw has amassed 497 runs from five innings at an average of 99.40 with three centuries and one half-century in the ongoing Ranji season.
