Chasing a target of 174, the Panthers appeared to be heading towards defeat when they needed 42 runs from just 17 deliveries. However, P. Saravanan and Gurjapneet Singh scripted a remarkable turnaround, guiding their side home with two balls to spare in a contest that showcased the unpredictable nature of T20 cricket.
The unlikely pair turned the match on its head with an aggressive counterattack. Gurjapneet, who remained unbeaten on 21 from just nine balls, injected life into the chase in the 18th over by taking on Antony Dhas.
