Pakistan bounced back in the second T20I against England as they went on to win by 10 wickets to level the series 1-1 at the National Stadium, Karachi on Thursday. England posted a par score of 199 runs after Moeen Ali and Ben Duckett scored 55 and 43 runs respectively.
However, the hosts made merry of the run chase as they scored 203 runs without even losing a single wicket. Babar Azam roared back into form as he scored 110 runs from 66 balls whereas Mohammad Rizwan scored 88 runs from 51 balls.

Babar and Rizwan have set the highest stand ever in a run-chase in the T20I format. They bettered their own record of 197 that they put on against South Africa back in 2021.
The duo has the highest runs in partnership for any wicket in T20Is. The pair currently has amassed 1929 runs in 36 innings at an average of 56.73 and they went past Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan’s record, who have scored 1743 runs in 52 innings.
The alliance of 203 is the highest for Pakistan in T20I cricket.
Babar Azam becomes the fifth highest run-getter in T20I cricket, surpassing Australian captain Aaron Finch. Azam has gathered 2895 runs in 82 T20I matches at an average of 43.86. Thus, he is 105 runs away from becoming the first Pakistan batter to score 3000 runs in the T20I version.
Babar Azam became the second Pakistan batter after Shoaib Malik to score 8000 runs in T20 cricket.
The series is now tied at 1-1 and the third T20I will be played at the National Stadium, Karachi on Friday.
