Previous season runners-up Peshawar Zalmi will face Lahore Qalandars in the 30th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2022 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Monday.
Both of these teams will want to finish in the top two of the points table so that they can get two chances in the playoff stages.
Lahore has managed six wins from nine matches whereas Zalmi has won five games from nine matches. Lahore has a better NRR (+0.852) and Zalmi will need to win a huge margin to finish in the second spot. But there is no doubt that Qalandars will be the favorite to finish in the top two.
Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars had won their previous match against Islamabad United by a huge margin of 66 runs. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi had also won their last game against Islamabad United by 10 runs.
When these two teams had met each other earlier in the season, Lahore Qalandars had won by 29 runs.
