Peshawar Zalmi will lock horns against Lahore Qalandars in the 23rd match of the Pakistan Super League 2023 at the Pindi Club Ground, Rawalpindi on Tuesday in the afternoon fixture. Lahore Qalandars have already qualified for the playoff stages after six wins in seven matches and they are currently at the top of the points table with 12 points.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi has won three and lost as many out of the six games they have played and they are currently in sixth position with six points.
When these two teams had met earlier in the season, Lahore Qalandars had won convincingly by 40 runs after a fine knock of 96 runs from Fakhar Zaman.
LHQ won their previous match against Multan Sultans by 21 runs and Shaheen Shah Afridi confirmed they will give chances to their bench in the remaining league-stage matches.
Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi won their last game against Karachi Kings by 24 runs after a strong batting performance from Kohler-Cadmore, Haseebullah Khan and Rovman Powell, who all scored fifties.
