Quetta Gladiators will lock horns against Peshawar Zalmi in the ninth game of the ongoing Pakistan Super League at the National Stadium, Karachi on Monday. Both teams have played two matches each so far and they have won one and lost one.
The Gladiators lost their opening game of the season against Multan Sultans by nine wickets but bounced back strongly to win their second game against Karachi Kings by six runs.
Martin Guptill was the star of the show for the Gladiators as he scored a fine knock of 117 runs and then the bowlers did a fine job in restricting the opposition to 162.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi won their opening game by two runs against Karachi Kings. However, they were beaten by a huge margin of 56 runs in their previous game. Zalmi conceded a huge score of 210 runs on the board and their bowlers will want to make a solid comeback against the Gladiators.
Zalmi’s captain Babar Azam was dismissed for only nine runs and he will look to lead from the front.
