The turning point came in the final over of regulation play when Mohammed Shami smashed a six off the last ball bowled by Kartik Tyagi, who was defending 16 runs. In the one-over eliminator, Sunil Narine produced a decisive spell, removing Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram while conceding just a single run. With minimal pressure, Rinku Singh stepped up and sealed the chase instantly, hitting a boundary off the very first ball to wrap up the contest.

He surged from 53 off 42 deliveries to finish unbeaten on 83 from 51 balls.
The innings came after a collapse triggered by Mohsin Khan, who dismantled KKR’s top order with clever variations. He dismissed Tim Seifert, Ajinkya Rahane, Rovman Powell, Cameron Green, and Anukul Roy to complete a five-wicket haul.
