Sri Lanka will be up against the T20 World Cup champions India in a three-match T20I series, with the first match set to be hosted at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele on Saturday. 

A new chapter will begin in Indian cricket with Gautam Gambhir taking the coaching baton from Rahul Dravid whereas Suryakumar Yadav has been given the T20I captaincy onus after Rohit Sharma’s retirement from the format.

Many deserving players are waiting in the wings to get their chances and one can be certain that there will be no shortage of opportunities for the young talent.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka will need to come up with a collective effort against the potent Indian team.
