Indian cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar, in an exclusive interview on the Star Sports show ‘CRICKET LIVE’, hailed Virat Kohli’s historic 50th ODI century, acknowledging the immense significance of the milestone for Indian cricket and its followers.
Gavaskar expressed, “You always have people who have set the bar and the standard. Then you want somebody to come and raise the bar a little further, and that’s exactly what Virat Kohli has done with his performances.”
Gavaskar lauded Kohli’s stellar performance in the ICC Men’s CWC 23, highlighting his exceptional form, accumulating nearly 700 runs and two centuries in the tournament, alongside multiple significant contributions.
