West Indies will face India in the third T20I at the Warner Park, Basseterre, St. Kitts on Tuesday. The Windies were able to bounce back stronger in the second game of the series as they won by five wickets to level the series 1-1. Obed McCoy was the chief destroyer of the Indian innings as he returned with figures of 6-17, which are the best bowling showing for West Indies in T20I format.
McCoy was able to extract extra bounce from the surface to trouble the Indian top order and then flummoxed the lower order with slower balls. Furthermore, Brandon King played a fine knock of 68 runs while Devon Thomas added the finishing touches as he scored 19-ball 31 to get his team over the line.
On the other hand, India will be disappointed with their batting effort in the second game and they will look to come up with a better show. In fact, Indian batters had got off to starts but they had failed to convert them into substantial scores.
In fact, the tourists had come up with a decent bowling performance in the second game but they didn’t have enough runs on the board. The visitors will look to bounce back stronger and tick the right boxes in the third game.
Match Prediction: The second T20I win must have given a lot of confidence to West Indies and they will look to continue the impetus. However, India might still start as favorites as they have a potent team.
