India will take on table toppers New Zealand at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on Sunday. The Kiwis have proved to be a thorn in India’s flesh in World Cups and the Rohit Sharma-led team will aim to come up with their best.
Both of these teams are in prime form, winning all of their four matches. In fact, all the matches of the ongoing World Cup have been one-sided but this contest could be a nail-biter between the two best teams so far.
India won their previous match against Bangladesh comprehensively by seven wickets whereas New Zealand won their last game against Afghanistan by a mammoth margin of 149 runs.
India has been brilliant with the ball and they have kept the opposition to below-par scores in all the four matches they have played. Thus, their bowling battery has made life easy for their batters in the ongoing World Cup. But Hardik Pandya is set to miss the game against the Kiwis due to an ankle injury.
On the other hand, New Zealand has also come up with a collective show with both bat and ball.
