Zimbabwe have named uncapped wicketkeeper-batter Tafadzwa Tsiga in their squad for the upcoming three-match Twenty20 International series against India, which begins on Thursday at the Harare Sports Club.

The 32-year-old has represented Zimbabwe in 10 Test matches but is yet to make his debut in limited-overs international cricket. His inclusion is one of the key changes to the squad ahead of the short home series.

Pakistan-born all-rounder Sikandar Raza will captain the side, while Zimbabwe have also recalled all-rounder Wessly Madhevere. Fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri returns to the squad after recovering from injury, strengthening the pace attack for the series.

The latest squad sees Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa and Tashinga Musekiwa omitted from the group that secured a 2-1 Twenty20 series victory over Bangladesh on home soil.

The series against India will be played entirely at the Harare Sports Club, with matches scheduled for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in a compact three-game contest.
