The 134th edition of Durand Cup 2025 is all set to commence on 23rd July with reigning champions East Bengal FC taking on South United FC at Kolkata. The final of the oldest tournament in Asia will be played on 20th August 23.
The one-month long competition will be played across five venues and between 24 teams, which will be divided into six groups of four teams each. The 24 teams will be from the Indian Super League, I-League and the Armed Forces.The teams will face each other in a single round-robin match in the pool stage.
Six group toppers and two best second-placed sides across all groups will make it to the quarters of the tournament.
With ISL’s future hanging on by thin thread, players will hope that the start of Durand Cup brings a new dawn in Indian football.

All matches of the Durand Cup 2025 will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports 2 channel on TV. The matches can also be live-streamed on the Sony Liv app and website.
