East Bengal FC midfielder Madih Talal ruled out for rest of the season due to knee injury

East Bengal FC midfielder Madih Talal has been ruled out of the rest of the season due to a knee injury. The Frenchman suffered the injury during the club’s match against Odisha FC on December 12th.

This is a massive blow for Oscar Bruzon’s team as Talal was the crucial bridge between their defense and attack. Talal is known to give consistent performances and the Red and Gold Brigade will certainly have their work cut out in filling his void.

In the ongoing Indian Super League 2024-25, Talal scored one goal and provided one assist in the 10 matches he played for the Kolkata-based club.

“Emami East Bengal FC midfielder Madih Talal unfortunately suffered a knee injury in the recent home match against Odisha FC. After evaluating his medical reports, the club can confirm that he will be ruled out for the remainder of the 2024-25 ISL season.
