Kerala Blasters FC new signing Noah Sadaoui wants the club to achieve greater things. The Yellow Tuskers signed the services of the striker on a two-year contract ahead of the new season. Sadaoui played for FC Goa in the previous season and played a key role in the success of the Gaurs.
The 30-year-old Moroccan footballer scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 23 appearances for FC Goa in the previous edition of the ISL and thus impressed one and all as he played a key role in helping the club qualify for the playoffs by finishing in third place in the standings. Furthermore, he scored nine goals and provided as many assists in 20 matches of the ISL 2022-23 season for FC Goa.
Overall, Sadaoui scored 29 goals and provided 16 assists while playing for the Gaurs. Ergo, the forward will look to continue the good show for the Yellow Army and deliver for Mikael Stahre’s team.
“It’s been an exciting journey since I’ve signed for Kerala Blasters FC. You know, with the amazing fans, they always messaged me and wanted to know if I was coming or not. So, for me, it’s a warm welcome; it makes me feel good as a player and want to do well for the club,” Sadaoui said in a recent interview with KBFC TV.
Sadaoui revealed that team’s support and fans pushed him to sign a deal with the club ahead of the next season.
“Yeah, to be honest, the one thing that made me pick Kerala Blasters FC was how much interest they had in me. You can feel the genuine feeling that they wanted me to be a part of the club and obviously the supporters,” he stated.
“For me personally, it is the best stadium to play in. It’s always full, as is the atmosphere. Even when I played against Kerala, it was unbelievable. I always liked to play against them. So it’s been a great journey so far,” he added.
The Moroccan footballer said he will look to deliver the goods for the team by making the most of his experience.
“For sure, I feel I have enough experience in the ISL and also in football in general. I’m willing to help the young guys and all my teammates; you know, we’re all under one name, Kerala Blasters FC. And we’re going to try to do our best to win trophies and make history in the club,” he remarked.
“I’m very motivated to help the team reach their goals. For me personally, it’s important for me to have good feelings with everyone at the club, whether it’s my teammates, my coaches, or the supporters. And yeah, that will be for the off-the-field, building a relationship with everybody, and that can take you a long way,” he further added.
