Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has revealed the club’s ambition is to win all the trophies in the upcoming season. The Gunners had ended their long wait for a Premier League title in the previous season after 22 years and also finished as the runners-up in the UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal had lost in the UCL final against PSG in the shootout and if they had gone all the way, it would been their first title.

Havertz scored in the sixth minute for Mikel Arteta’s team in the summit clash against the Parisians and he reckons the club is ready to go all the way in Europe’s most prestigious tournament.

“We want all the trophies,” he said. “That’s what we’re here for. We won the Premier League now but there’s a lot more that we can do.

“We have to reach another level to make that happen because we know how long the season is and how hard it is to go through all the competitions. We want to do it better again this year and make things happen again.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have never defended their Premier League crown and the German believes the club can do what they have never done.

“I think we can, or we have to go further,” Havertz said.

“You see especially other teams getting better, so we have to step up another level again. I think that’s what we’re all here for, that’s what we train for.

“We want to start strong and reach our goals this season again.”

Arsenal will begin their next season against Man City in the Community Shield on Aug. 16 before beginning their title defence against Coventry City on Aug. 21.
