Tennis legend Rafael Nadal has made and broken many records in his glorious career. Nadal won the French Open in 2020, which was his 13th title at the Roland Garros. The Spaniard was also able to level Roger Federer’s tally of 20 slam titles.
With Federer still recuperating from his knee injury, Nadal has a good chance of leapfrogging the Swiss maestro. Federer has pulled out of the upcoming Australian Open and Nadal will look to get another slam under his belt.
On the other hand, reigning champion Novak Djokovic will look to defend his title in the Australian Open and bag his 18th major title.
Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal is on the cusp of achieving a major milestone in 2021. Nadal is currently placed at the second place in the ATP rankings with 9850 rating points.
The 34-year old champion has spent a total of 797 consecutive weeks in the top-10 rankings since April 25, 2005. Consequently, Nadal is all set to become the first player in the Tennis history to complete 800 consecutive weeks inside the top-10 rankings.
On the other hand, Nadal is also 14 wins away from reaching 500 hard court victories in his illustrious career. Federer currently leads the tally of hard court wins with 782 victories and he is followed by Djokovic (604) and Andre Agassi (592).
Rafael Nadal is known to give his 120% on the court and he keeps getting better with experience. Nadal has a never say never attitude which makes him an absolute champion.
The talisman will look to continue his good show going in 2021 and he will look to go all the way in the upcoming Australian Open. The AO 2021 will begin from February 8.
