Puneri Paltan will lock horns against Patna Pirates in the 17th match of the ongoing eighth season of the Pro Kabaddi 2021 at the Sheraton Grand, Whitefield, Bengaluru on Tuesday.
Patna Pirates have thus far played two matches out of which they have lost one and won one. They currently have six points under their bag and are placed in the sixth position in the points table.
On the other hand, Puneri Paltan has also won one match and lost one out of the two games they have played so far in the season. But they have five points under their belt due to the score difference and thus are placed in the ninth position in the standings.
Puneri Paltan had won their previous match against Telugu Titans by the skin of their teeth as they won by a solitary point. But Patna Pirates were on the wrong side of the result as they lost their last fixture against U.P. Yoddha by a single point. Thus, both teams will look to secure five points by winning their next match.
Substitute Mohit Goyat had scored nine points for Puneri Paltan in the previous match while Sachin had bagged a Super 10 against U.P. Yoddha in Patna Pirates’s last encounter.
